UCOL is a tertiary teaching organisation and recognises that, at degree level, research plays a useful role in informing the curriculum, providing students with more depth to their studies, and linking UCOL to its industries, communities and the professions it serves. The driving rationale for research at UCOL is that it should actively inform teaching in degree programmes and form a synergistic interface with business and industry. UCOL is a âlearning communityâ in all senses of the term, and creating new knowledge and sharing it with our community of learners is a high priority for us.
