Abstract

Medications with anticholinergic (AC) prop- erties have adverse effects on cognition and many guidelines recommend avoiding them in older adults. Theoretically they could negate bene???ts of cholinesterase inhibitor (CI) treatment in patients dementia patients, although there is inadequate evidence to date.
